A Child in the City

The title of this blog was inspired by a picture I took my freshman year of college when I visited New York over Christmas break. I love this picture. It is of a banner that hung on the side of The Plaza, which was being renovated at the time. I always thought it would be so incredible to be a "city child" and now I will be. I am moving to New York City in January to spend my last semester of college as an intern for CBS News. I am so scared, excited, nervous, anxious, thrilled, and on and on. It has been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl to live in New York and now I am actually going to live my dream. This is a must. Before I can graduate, get married, have kids, I need to do this for myself. I am not one to live with 'what ifs' in my life. I have to go on this crazy adventure for myself, for my heart, and for the dreams of the little girl inside me. New York City, here I come!
